Landscape‑type box‑type substation, also known as landscape transformer, is aesthetic‑optimized power distribution equipment. Different from ordinary box‑type substations with plain industrial appearance, it adopts imitation‑stone, wood‑grain or custom‑painted housing to blend into surrounding environments. Two main types are available: surface‑mounted for residential areas and roads, and semi‑buried type for scenic spots. The semi‑buried unit puts main components underground with only small access covers above ground, requiring high‑level waterproof and moisture‑proof performance. Inside it contains high‑voltage cabinets, transformer unit and low‑voltage panels to step‑down 10kV power for buildings and landscape facilities. Optional temperature control, dehumidification and remote monitoring support long‑term outdoor operation. Widely applied in parks, scenic zones, high‑end residential communities and riverside projects.
