A prefabricated transformer (commonly referred to as a "prefabricated transformer") is a complete set of power distribution equipment, organically combined with a transformer, high-voltage control equipment, and low-voltage control equipment. Its components are assembled in a prescribed order within a fully sealed, tempered steel enclosure structure that is waterproof, dustproof, and rodent-proof.

This equipment is widely used in residential communities, commercial centers, and power engineering construction, and is also applied in new energy wind power projects. The outer casing uses a metal conductor with strong corrosion resistance, and the internal interfaces use insulating materials. The enclosure is equipped with air conditioning and dehumidification equipment. During maintenance, insulated shoes and gloves must be worn, and the outer casing, surrounding environment, and connecting parts must be cleaned and inspected regularly.
